Matthew E. Rives was born near Dallas, Texas to an affluent family with deeply historic ties to the oil, real estate, and financial industries. His mother had aristocratic ties to the Peerage System of Great Britain through which Mr. Rives is titled.
Mr. Rives finds that it is his duty as someone in a position such as his own to serve his community through philanthropic endeavors. While prioritizing privacy and enjoying the luxury of not being a public figure Mr. Rives finds that he is able to provide additional support to his community while also inspiring others to do what they are for the betterment of society.
In his times of leisure Mr. Rives enjoys traveling, hosting dinner parties, and learning different languages.
